Say what you will about China, but you cant deny that their history is the stuff of legends.
Even their ancient history is epic, but the last two centuries even more so. From being an underdog suffering a century of humiliation, to a diverse revolutionary coalition working together to overthrow the defunct centuries-old monarchy, having two polar opposite ideologues and bitter enemies-KMT and CCP-team up to defeat the warlords and japs, undergoing a civil war, one of them running off to an island vowing to one day retake their homeland, becoming the factory of the world and now a superpower rivalling the USA.
No matter how much they cope, Indian rightoids must admit that China is what they wish India to be. A strong state that has one of the oldest, strongest and most prestigious civilizations that is now kicking the asses of both muzzies and timmies while being begrudgingly acknowledged as an impressive country that underwent miraculous growth even by its strongest detractors.

The CCP could enforce its vision on China, because it won a bloody war, that's how they got into power, they people that came to power in lundia were handed the reigns by the British, after they got tired of ruling lundia.
And no country develops because of some yojana alone, china didn't develop because of communism or whatever ideology, it was the people that made it possible, average chinese is way more hard working and intelligent than average lundian
