We don’t have a great *filmmaker* (no debates here, by great I mean internationally acclaimed and someone culturally significant) or a great *writer* (no, Arundhati Soy isn’t one).

I don’t think so. Take a loot at ancient Indian literature, Kalidasa’s Shakuntala caused a whole shockwave in Europe when it was translated into English. Goethe (regarded as Europe’s finest intellectual OAT) even wrote a literal poem just to praise it.
And if you come to modern times; Ray and Tagore were brilliant men. I know they were Bengali and ray was a bit cucky, still they did represent a new-born independent India.
Their works are KINO.

I need some background pattern for website.
Currently you can see lights at the top of the page, it's very attention catching, but instead i want it to be some seasonal stuff, like winter snowflakes, or autumn reddish fallen leaves pattern...spring pattern. summer vibrance.
It should be subtle and maybe multiple variant of same images to coincide with the existing themes.
Keeping this thread alive since i want to draw few myself and if other anons want to contribute then they can too or others who want to help me in correcting drawings etc.

I remember a few months ago an anon made a thread about zines discussing wether or not we should make one I dont remember where that conversation ended up in the end but the idea eventually left everyone's mind I guess after a while

There’s something so deep and personal about this painting. If instead of seeing Lucifer from a Biblical lens, you see him as a guy who just wanted to revolt against authority and defy nature; it changes the whole scenario.
The defeat he faced seems so heart wrenching and personal to me. Imagine you’re the most beautiful thing god created and then the next seconds you’re lying on a pile of shit. This is everything I experience in my life:- humiliation, embarrassment, resentment, hatred and defeat. You were destined to beauty, glory and love but now all you have with yourself is the flame of hatred within your heart.
