Everything is done online now, atleast Josaa mei toh marksheet nahi lagti.
Otherwise just fine the best possible scanner and use it. Also apparently you can verify both with a UV light

Hi, this is what I did 2 months back when the garbage company I used to work at asked for my original 10th marks card as insurance for employment bond.
1. Keep in mind I wrote my 10th cbse exam in 2018. Back then cbse issued 2 sheets- one sheet with only marks card and other sheet with name, details , hologram, signature, etc.
2.What i did get a high clarity colour Xerox of both sides in correct alignment on a thick bond sheet.
3.Next i stapled the edge of the Xerox copy and removed it. This is because colleges here staple your original documents during admission. So doing this adds authenticity.
4.And Last and most importantly, laminate your duplicate Xerox. This masks the difference in paper quality and covers up minor defects.

afaik, most exams don't ask for original. attested copies are enough. What is this unique exam? And I'll suggest you to talk to the examiners in person. You aren't doing anything illegal by applying for different exams after all
