you are kinda weak minded and need a guiding principle in loife that denotes a clear good and bad. I have read some catholic theological texts most of their "research" and "philosophy" revolves around continuously reinterpreting the same religious notions over and over again. Do read the Quran too in many places it is just a more extra version of the bible

man i've been agnostic forever, i think i like the aesthetics of christianity more than anything. i HAVE read the quran and apart from a few beautiful passages, it is written in such an ass way. no beauty no inspiration. the bible is much better in a literary sense.

Christians unironically believe you have to accept the person who murders your kids and rapes your wife if he repents. Genuinely cucked faith.

You ever read the talmud? it's like the quran in some ways. Quran is more of a instruction manual than an actual religious text, after all islam is the distillation of everything abrahamism strives to be. I do agree catholic and especially ortho aesthetics are pretty pleasing to the eye (most prot aesthetics suck balls), but if that is the only reason you are attracted to xtianity you will lose interest when you are proper adherent and would be expected to follow all the expected rules as a new convert. Look at philosophical underpinnings of xtianity and compare it to judaism or islam then make your call

Their is no harm in reading Bible, and understanding and Abrahamic faith. Take your time to understand different sects like Catholism and Protestants, and while you have the time give Gnostism a read as well.

While you are at it, it won't hurt you to read other Abrahamic books like Qur'an, Torah and whatever the fuck Bahai people follow as well, just stay away from N.O.I and you're good.

Real as fuck, Anon. I don't like Christianity but GOOD LORD HANUMAN, kya aesthetics hai. The goths and the choir goes way too hard. Ten more years and perhaps we too will form and polish our own aesthetic or connect to the one that was lost.

its completely normal to feel drawn towards a patricular religion. There was a time when I felt EXTREMELY drawn towrds Islam for 10-15 days. I still remember that I stopped consuming literally every kind of media to escape that depressive phase of my life. After that I found out 4chan and other non-conventional internet spaces from where I picked some book recommendations. That helped me in a great way to understand my own Hindu identity and its relation to my society, caste, language, state and country. I must say that I am pretty chill and very comfortable now about these topics and the questions that lie therein as far as my own life is concerned.

As for you I'd suggest you to read christianity properly so that get to know more about it in good detail.

I'd post some reading stuff about christianity. You can download all these books by typing their title in Yandex serach engine and add the word "pdf" at the end of it. Alternatively you can rely on free pdf sites like 'libgen.is', 'z-library', 'internet archive', 'annas archive', the pirate bay and other similar alternatives to download these books.

Lastly you can buy them from amazon.in or amazon.com if you want a hard copy in your hand.

I am an unmarried OBC Hindu originally hailing from NCR region. I work as an IT professional in Bangalore and I go to temple alone on every weekend and voluntarily donate 5% of my mothly salary to the temple as the temple management isn't corrupt and they actually put notices about their monthly spendings publically outside the main hall of the temple.

after reading christianity you should move onto reading Friedrich Nietzsche and Julius Evola to take a peak out of the religious echo-chamber.

at this step you can also read french philosopher Rene Guenon and other perennialists if you want to learn more about the forces that unite all religions. This is a completely optional step and has nothing to do with Christianity.

if any other anons don't want to read in detail about christianity but only want a cursory overview about its morality then you can simply skip the christianity reading stage and directly start from this stage >>183

You should read some political philosophy along with it as well. You may read western political philosophers or the Indian political philosophers (of any political orientation) as well.

People on imegboard formums generally read right wing philosophy, so to counter-balance it I'd post some neutral philosophy recommendations.

Those anons who aren't interested in politics but are more interested in art and literature can read classical literature directly after this stage >>183 skipping guenon.

I'd personally recommend you to start from Shakespeare (Arden Editions) books and watch the respective theatrical performances after reading each book as well.

I'd be glad to post book recommendations on other topics as well at the request of anons.

I can provide you with reading material about Islam, makin IEDs and homemade weapons, classic French/Hong Kong cinema recommendations, homemade liquor and drugs, darkweb surfing guides, unrealeased avant-garde movies (some extremely illegal), Indic/Chinese religions, traditional medicines, gym/calisthenics, diet, military manuals and workout routine, history and other stuff.

Se you all next week.

no, i’ve never told them. mainly because i’m scared they might un-adopt me (as per islam, it’s possible to cut ties if someone leaves the religion). my mom’s a little conservative too, so it just doesn’t feel safe to bring it up as of now. my dad isn’t like her tho (he actively does yoga, has read the gita many times, and all of his close friends are hindus). he doesn’t really practice islam anymore, and he probably already knows that i’m not religious. he once told me not to just do what others say, but to follow what i believe after thinking about it deeply and really understanding it for myself

i’d rather keep all this to myself for now, especially from her and her side of the family. and i don’t want to risk losing my freedom or peace of mind (i'm a guy btw). so yeah, maybe there’s a bit more leeway, but it’s still not worth the fallout rn. currently, i’m focusing on my clg/trying to land a job/get some stability first and once i’ve built something of my own, i might tell her

bro you seem like a genuine guy. Please help us Hindus by marring a religious upper-caste Muslim jeeta in future and turn her liberal slowly after marriage. Also don't have more than one kid with her and if your kid is female then make sure to marry her to a non-muslim.
