Trams and metro lites are beautiful. Most indian cities are better suited for metro lite type system.
Atleast kolkata is getting metro so that is good. New kolkata railway station beautification is also good.

Shopping mall slop. Look up Sarabar or Esplanede stations. The mosaic tile art, the dim yellow light underground stations, the entrances looking like a way to the underworld. It looked very soviet brutalist
