Depends on diet. Teeth stay cleaner when you dont consume carbslop. I just brush and floss once in morning. Used to brush twice a day but i feel thats excessive cus i dont consume sugar or eat junk and my teeth stays smooth. Rinsing after every meal is easy way to keep teeth clean.

just make sure you aren't going too hard

>you dont scrub your teeth like you are cleaning tiles
>focus on area around and in the gums
>lightly brush and clean tongue too
>soft bristles are great if you have a habbit of Brushing too hard
