i am not against C or against CLRS. C is my favourite language and CLRS is the holy grail and doing things for fun is the way. but right now i am assuming you are in need of optimizing your preparation and both C and CLRS are detrimental in that case.

sirs there is a whole chapter on dynamic programming in CLRS, in depth.
Have your ever seen and tried to solve the exercises given in CLRS?
CLRS is the best source material available, nothing comes close.

CP is quite different thing too, it is a sport, as far as a software job is considered, CP doesn't matter kuch, it gives you a edge in leetcode style problems but that's pretty much it, programming skills of most CP sucks otherwise, it is a documented fact.

Being a 6 year veteran CP grinder matters only if you were interested in being ICPC or IOI, truth is leetcode style interviews are only done for entry level roles, as you go further, things get more professional
