Is there any side in this conflict which can be said to be the 'good' side or have a just cause?
I know the basic history that european jews led by zionism and later due to nazi persecution started settling in palestine by buying property there and converting desert lands to farmlands leading to large jewish population. The palestinians rejected a 2 state solution and arab countries invaded israel but israel won.
Multiple wars followed, each time started by arabs, resulting in israel conquering more land each time to the point that israel now controls nearly all of the land.
Is there anything more to it?

Entire Israel Palestine history can be summarized as rivalry between the two sons of Abraham - Ishmael and Isaac
12 tribes of Israel (jews) descend from Isaac while Mohammedans descend from Ishmael
Israelites (jews) were really god's favorite people and that land was promised to them by god.
When I was a kid I used to read their entire history from the Old Testament in Bible.

Muslims outside arabia dont descend from arabs. Iraqis, levantines, palestinians are different semitic groups that just adopted the arabic language with spread of islam and arab rule.
