Crashes are common all the time. But there's bigger issue likely underlying cause.

This compared with higher sortie rate, aging infra and chasing silver bullets. We are witnessing this across the board - armed forces, railways, isro, hal, drdo etc. - all are suffering from manpower crunch coupled with over worked.
The current administration, the IAF leadership and respective leadership in these bodies along with babudom is completely incapable of sustaining this.
Hopefully we are wrong but it's not a good look at all. IAF maintaining their 1 such event per month record.
Very unmotivated events unfolding - now ideally we can say that we don't have full context. As in before Operation sindoor we didn't know just how good was Akashteer system, similar one in IA - this was we didn't know much about. But at the same time, if the current leadership is completely clueless on communication front - all these remarks will float which currently are mostly negative.
For the record, in case of ISRO we could see that - they have grounded their spaceflight aspects for 3 months and going through scrutiny, it was also caused by the private player handover and wrapping things up at ISRO. So there's always going to be hiccups but again - funds not being pushed for things like NAVIC, etc. is almost scary. 35 mil sats i don't know their status as of now.
Vaishnaw is probably one of the best ministers of current government, he has done well. We for certain need someone like parrikar, a person like Bipin Rawat. Not saying they were perfect but the current RM seems complete clueless on this front.
Ig for time being, don't get carried away and try to learn more on this issue. For now.

I think there was some incident with Indian Navy where they left a latch open in the submarine, causing it to flood. It was years ago though.
