I would normally call this based but I don't think their is any such restriction on Puranas. Vedas do have a restriction to Dwija community, but this seems kind of retarded.

We are allowed to teach vedas, but other Dwijas can read and study it anon. This is a vital point everyone fails to address. Any Dwija is free to study Veda as their birth right once they finish their Pavita ritual. The only limitation is that the Brahman alone can preach the Veda to others.

This i agree with, however I still find it ...kind of retarded to implement same rule on Puranas. It may seem like a caste issue, but this is just a retardation issue. Not every orthodox element of Hinduism is casteist yaar. These people are so retarded.

Nanak was cool tho, Nanak was a Dwija, and he didn't preach Vedas. I won't call him a heretic as he didn't outright do anything that contradicts Hinduism as a whole. Also too many Brahmans contributed to Sikhi Dharma as well. So I find it retarded to hold that faith in contempt.
