Look at this plane, the B2 bomber. One of the finest things man has ever made. You might not believe it but a Pajeet was the brains behind it. His name is Noushir Gowadia. Born in Mumbai. He emigrated to US and designed this plane. Which begs the question, why can't Indians do engineering in India? The best we have come up with is the dogshit HAL tejas and Kaveri engine. Both embarrassing failures. Why can't Indian government remove reservation and bring in more private players? At most india has managed to become an IT coolie sweatshop. Filled with codejeets. When will India make a plane like the B2?

SWIFT was tech demonstrator, test bed for avionics etc. for stealth UCAV ghatak with payload capacity close to 6.5 tonnes, using dry version of kaveri engine - 9 or so are under fabrication for the same purpose, we know that UCAV proto is mostly ready or under going fabrication with mating with engine remaining. It's under PMO.
After recent skirmish, army realized that swift could also be used as a kamikaze type drone with stealth characteristics and higher payload.
Apart from that we have CATS program. We saw CATS hunter lite version using stfe engine during recent aero india. It can carry two to four SAAW bombs, can be useful in disabling the airfields of the enemy. CATS program itself is very interesting.
