I was pleasantly surprised when I read this in an essay in Alan Turing's Computing Machinery and Intelligence. Turing didn't maintain an obscure occult journal. Neither did he declared this at an established verbatim at a secret parapsychology conference. Neither was he a Victorian spiritualist nor was he a sèance attendee.

Okay guys this is really embarrassing, but I just want to ask if someone else has the same fears? I'm a 24 y/o male and I live in my apartment alone, but I'm really struggling to sleep with the lights off because I always imagine some horror figures like Annabelle (the puppet) or The Nun from the movie standing in my corridor watching into my room. I think I might've been molested as a kid in my bed, because I can't explain my fear of going to sleep alone in the dark otherwise. Like I don't even have a problem with walking around outside in the dark alone on the streets, my problem only starts when I'm trying to sleep in my bed.
