how online "coaching" scam works
first of all you have to understand that the purpose of online coaching is not to provide quality education, it is to reach maximum amount of students - scaling, so you spend lots on ads and propaganda - affordable saar, muh rebholution saar etc.
No let's suppose there is a local offline coaching called A in a city that selects some good promising students and then prepares them for some exam - focused on results, say 40 students and fees is 60,000 then total amount comes out 2400000, it is run by some IIT pass teacher, he maintains a standard quality faculty which can give proper attention to a limited pool of students.
Here comes le rebholution online coaching started by some Tier-3 dropped out bhangi, his focus is not results but reaching max number of (shitty) students, he posts on youtube, talks about all sorts of drama, criticises coaching A and its teacher, for "looting" students, he sells lectures for 7000/- without any sort of entrance exam or anything, it is just online purchase, anyone can do it, 1000 students (most of them not that good, but the course is cheap) join him, making him 7000 x 500 = 3500000.
Now think about who is the real looter and scammer? the one selling shitty meme courses to unaware poorfags, playing with there hopes? or the ones who charges a hefty amount but teaches a promising pool of students who can deliver results.
Note the later can help good poor fag students through scholarships.

In short the purpose of online coaching is selling low quality shit to as much people as possible, the scale is huge, there is lots of money to be made, you can promise huge things, you know the youtube game.
