Not much you can do, unless you have lands that you can cultivate, guns, and able bodied men, in this instance say brothers. If you do have a home that is big enough, reinforce it. Metal railings on the window, barbed wire on top of walls and the fence, thick steel gates. It doesn't make you all that immune, makes you a less likely target.

Unironically do not run. Keep your arms pulled in hard, feets wife with stable stance and walk with your head low. School, College, in regions like the such, move to places easy to hide into. Truth be told, mass shootings are partially luck based too. If it comes to a moment where you are hiding for your life, calm down, move slowly, don't get your life upon shooter not finding you.

Depends. Leave home if it's earth quake, if it is a typhoon, stay in the innermost room, get to the higher floors during floods, etc.
