No. Masculinity and Compliance are negatively correlated. Masculinity is just men being in our element, after we have been adults. All traits that one gains biologically and refined socially as an "adult" fully grown male. Some men are very good in academics, some are retarded due to the bell curve. That is exists on a different axis.
However both of these makes less likely to be compliant. That doesn't mean they are bad at studies. However school, colleges in a manner work on compliance and boring repetition that men struggle with, in lack of a purpose. Midwits or foids do extremely well in education for this reason where compliance is valued highly.
You not listening to your teachers has less to do with being masculine, and more to do with you being a retard. Anyone who is sane and with a functioning T level would simply tune it out, and go along with it till the day was over. However if you were a teacher or a professor, high T levels will make you compete with other teachers on a fundamental level. High T levels make people compete to establish their own world view in a framework. It doesn't mean they can't follow any basic instructions.

Some kids are good in sports, very tall and have higher aggression and still do quite well in kids.
Women tend score more and are celebrated more, because they are much more compliant than their male counterparts. In simplest word, when it comes to job or education, women calm down, and become good girls. (Like they all are meant to do for their husbands) Which is simply what nature intended from them. It doesn't make them more studious.
