When I was a kid I got into a fight and injured my knee. There were multiple bloody scratches on my knee.

I went home and told my baap that a dog bit me. I lied because I thought I'll get beaten by my baap for losing a fight against a bhangi.

I didn't know that dog bites have to be treated and the treatment is injections.

These days only 3-4 injections are given if I'm not wrong but at that time you were supposed to get injected every other day for two weeks or so. And like a good boy I took them all.

My question is, is it possible that those rabies vaccines might have hurt me in some way or another as I was actually not biten by a dog.

Second question - if I get bitten in future, will I have to take those vaccines again? My body probably has the needful antibodies already, right?
