Imageboards give a false sense of belonging, you think that everyone you knew here yesterday are here today and will be here with you forever, this could be due to the anonymous nature of this place or this place that certain types of ideologies or beliefs are passed down through anon to anon, this way even if some new user were to come here, he will in about a week or 2 get a jist of the culture here, of course nobody will ever know the full lore since imageboards have existed longer than some of have even used internet for, for example if I were to ask one of you what was the state of the imageboard like in March of 2016,most of you will not know, and that's perfectly fine, since time is not a major aspect of life and certainly not one on Imageboards.. I am willing to bet money on the fact that most of you do not even remember which threads you interacted to a week earlier, now coming back to the original topic, Just think for a moment just how many anons have left and how many newer ones have joined since you first loaded this place, this thought struck me when I tried to recall how many namefags from the time I first started using inch to now are still active and surprisingly I couldn't even think of a single one.
