Back in the day, I did this to get a bus pass from Haryana Roadways Depot of my city. They were not accepting my address proof for the pass because my house was located in the outskirts which was not valid for the pass from the main city in which I was applying to. It made me incomprehensibly angry and I started shouting and cussing at the clerk uncle.
A croud gathered and the uncle accepted my address proof and gave me a bus pass to stop the situation from getting worse.
This happened back in 2014 when I was a nanha little shota bachaa in class 11th.

is it true there are no laws in Haryana/Punjab/UP? Every time i hear a story from there it sounds like some post-industrial wasteland full of roaming gangs, caste wars, rapes and accidents. Yet the region also has hotter women who dress more scantily than most of the other north indian states. How is this so?

Everybodys chacha tau is in police because there were not really anything happening until 2010. And obviously, people who are privleged enough for gang life were also priveleged enough to study or pay bribes to get in police. If you are an outsider its almost like entering a jungle as a human where every animal has their own group who wants to kill and humiliate you. No exaggeration here.
