We have worst labour law in the world according to the economist magazine, where unions were given unnecessary powers using govt regulations by Nehru. Our manufacturing growth has suffered, even much smaller bangladesh exports more garments than India does on absolute basis

It was license raj growth rate until 1991 capitalist reforms. But leftists tried to blame the failure of their socialist policy failures to hindu religion of India.

Nehruvian labour laws reform was skipped during 1991 reforms, so our manufacturing is not growing fast. Vajpayee fixed term employment labour reform was undone by Manmohan. Still congress wont allow labour law reforms, so India is not growing at 10%

Indian draconian labour laws means manufacturing sector wont grow in India, called as worst in the world by The Economist magazine. They were passed by congress, and reforms are opposed by congress even now. Then same congress blames India as not doing good in manufacturing

NDA government under Modi did introduce labour codes in 2020 to simplify and consolidate existing laws, but implementation has been slow, partly due to state delays and resistance by leftists.

India is growing faster than china, proof is in the pudding. We are the fastest growing major economy in the world for multiple years during Modi regime, never had it happened during Manmohan.

China stopped freebies like monthly food grain ration in 1990s, so after some time they eliminated poverty. China has corporate friendly labour laws. But leftists say china is doing good, but they are offering new freebies in every election, and oppose amendment to our draconian labour laws

Saar do you think the world's largest population can't scale only because of labour laws? Between dhandoos, cripling infrastructure and corrupt babus and netas; you want to blame the blame working for scraps as greedy?

Now compare with Indira Gandhi imposing 97% income tax. She wanted to become communist dictator of India with soviet support, luckily our army supported elections instead of emergency

Nehru nationalised air india, LIC etc. He brought draconian labour laws reforms of which were skipped during 1991 reforms, etc. He is the biggest curse in the history of Indian civilisation

World's tallest statue of unity costed 5000 crores. While infrastructure budget last year of central govt alone was 10 lakh crore, including highways, railway, ports. So you can build 200 world's tallest statues every year. Or freebies given by Karnataka one state alone can build 10 tallest statues every year. But people like you would like to mislead others for capturing power

Number of Netas are in few hundreds who get salary for doing weekly work. But commie propaganda compares that hundreds with freebies given to crores of people. Who is the idiot?

All banks should be privatised, so that bribing managers for loans etc will stop. Indira gandhi nationalised banks leading to corruption

but still corruption is not high compared to other developing countries. What is harming Indian economic growth is socialism like freebies and govt regulations, while corruption hardly has much negative effect. even bribes dont harm economic growth much, all developing countries have some corruption. It is socialist policies like govt regulations and licensing, freebies given in return for votes which hurt the economic growth the most. Also corruption is higher in leftist ruled state govts of India

China has much more free market labour laws than India. Our draconian labour laws is the reason why India manufacturing sector isnt growing fast, some state govt managed roads are in bad condition, but leftists try to blame indian central govt instead>>104850

Lol you people are so naive. Look at what countries have the cheapest wages, now while looking at where china is, see their cost of production.

>Leftist

I am not. I am not a lolbertrian either.

>Privatize

Most of our countries innovation comes either from public sector or small and new starups, not the cash rich dhandoos who only care about margins. If we sell more of our state assets to the likes of Ambanis, we are actually fucked.

many people think think govt should fund r&d.. But instead it is private sector which does it, not govt. Like iphone, tesla, what not, It is not govt job to fund startups. Private sector is better, it is a proven thing.

you are mistaking favoritism with free markets the issue isnt privatization its who gets to buy and run these assets if you privatize by handing everything over to politically connected people like ambani it would be rule by a rich few. real privatization means open competitive markets where innovation thrives because of lower barriers to entry
