for me the charm was in co-op. i didnt really care about genres as a kid as long as i could play local co-op (aka splitscreen) with my brothers, be it stuff like halo, cod mw2, or forza motorsport 4. Only platformer i remember having was Limbo

maybe in India, but back in the UK where i lived it was a lot better. I purchased the 360 S, so i didn't face the same console issues as the regular 360 guys. That thing is a fucking tank. My kid brother and baap have both tried to break it multiple times by throwing it and it still works 16 years later. Try doing that with any post-2014 technology and watch how it breaks

plus, nothing (and i mean NOTHING) can beat the feel of the xbox 360 controller. It is peak design. I have held my younger brother's ps5 controller and it just isn't the same feeling
