K2-18B could hold the first true hint that life exists beyond Earth, After new data from the James webb space Telescope revealed signs of gases that on earth are only produced by living organisms.

- Water vapor detected (Hubble).
- Possible Hycean worldāhot, ocean-covered, hydrogen-rich.
- JWST spotted methane, COā, & tentative DMS (a possible life sign).
K2-18b remains one of the most promising candidates for studying exoplanet habitability, though itās likely more of a "water world" with a thick atmosphere than an Earth twin.

No point getting excited for such findings, they found other promising planets before but they turned out to be hellholes. It would be better if we got a look in with other surveilling equipment before jumping the gun
