old city farts like myself use these kind of bags nowadays because regular backpacks with zipper are too complicated. this one is just loosly rolled up at the top and then closes with one buckle. also all these different compartments are only good to charge more for the backpack but more often then not they have annoyed me and i wished for less restriction. just one big pocket instead of 10 different compartments behind zippers that i never use.
i modded mine so i can close it with a little car safetybelt, which is cool because it is spring loaded. every time i open it, it is as satisfying as opening the safetybelt of a car.
in a pinch a bag like this can be left open and stuffed pretty good.i see them being sold for 100€ 200€ and 300€ and mine cost 12€ in the supermarket 🤣

old norway backpack apparently. made from woven tree-bark. pretty cool, i'd walk around with this, i have a cheap one that is similarly large and wide; can't stand these tiny female backpacks. when something is so tiny, i don't bother putting it into a backpack, i just stuff it in a canvas bag. I want my backpack to help me carry groceries and fit a few books and sheit.

you don't get a backpack, you get a yellow tag in your ear with some barcode or number in it, which makes identifying easier for when you get sold to the highest bidder, generic cattle.

Roll tops became popular amongst bike messengers including Berliner ones, because the zippers break and are expensive to replace.
In India, carry pro is a good company for any other person who is a backpack geek.
If you are ok with spending ~200€ ish , https://chromeindustries.com/collections/backpacks
They are in stock in some stores, though finding them online might be tougher due to US / EU stuff.
For Indians, picrel from carry pro is pretty good. I used it with Indigo without paying extra and packed worth 7 days.

Rs. 4500 = 40€
that can't be right. sheit man i need to move to india. though i found one, maybe not quite as high quality at aldi for ~30€. i don't know who is buying the stuff that they are selling here but it is ridiculously expensive. everything. just doesn't work.
was in a nature-store today and they sold backpacks and they sold an ugly bag from recycled ocean plastic for 180€. and it won all these design awards 🤣

fun fact, 95% of people driving dilivery bike like that here are (what looks to me like) indian sikh. if i knew what life is like after school i would have failed every single exam ever and saved like 10 years of my life.

while on the one hand it is expensive here, on the other hand it is also cold, lifeless and depressing.👍

man i should have travelled more when i was younger. i just started so late in life because i was always busy becoming something in the world of education. big mistake. education is cancer.
though i couldn't have done it when i was younger because i was molested all the time when i was younger, i couldn't go anywhere without someone trying to harm me in some way. that's one thing i really love about being good at skating now. there is no better way to dodge ugly women who want to molest then while skating.
