I can tell you this
I frequently notice higher ram usage in Firefox as compared to chrome for the same website and same number of tabs within without any extensions on both of them

firefox allows me to use scroll button to close and open tabs and also smooth scroll, so, i will stick to firefox until any other browser brings me these features and no chrome or brave doesnt or your some niche retarded browser doesnt either.
