Based on personal experiences. I have seen a combined total of 2 people in my life who were smart, and worked hard. On the other hand, practically everyone who got high grades and accepted to better universities than me were average people who either studied hard or were simply rich and charismatic

I don't know, i joined the Bangalore chapter at 15 and only talked to the people in my age group. I talked to one buddha who was a professor at IISc and he mentioned how he had been going there for two years at that point and had still not found someone to talk about his interests with. He looked pretty lonely when I left him. I think he killed himself

sometimes i desire to drop out, but university really is the only way i can attain a normal enough job to fund my other interests. So i am forced to bear the mockery of myself and all i hold dear over here.
At least the content in taught in engineering at university is less mind-numbingly boring than it was in school
