They all shrunk down across the 4 years... most primarily due to manpower issues, but the Germans were also leading in advanced theories of applying the newer technologies at war. Tho the only successful such offensive remained the second Armageddon of the Brits. Germans made tactical successes even in late war, but were always outnumbered and out of luck.

Their Bruckmiiller artillery preparation, the combined arms assault, storm battalion, rejection of linear advance in favor of bypassing enemy centers of resistance, and attacks to disorganize the enemy rear area conceptualized during late stages of WW1 all came together to become the WW2 Bewegungskrieg doctrine of theirs. Aka what normies call Blitzkrieg(fake meaningless term).
