Is Japan a really good place to live . atleast in early 2000s ?
i know japan has very toxic work culture. but imagine roaming in early 2000s japanese streets filled with arcade games. it gives me nostalgia even though i never went to japan

If you were a regular salaryman or some regular mangaka/teacher, then absolutely not. The only good thing to come out of Japan are its cultural exports (anime & manga, VNs & videogames, music, and a few books)
