What's performative about this ? i'm in a dehat tier 3 kalej, where there are frequent power cuts. i have been managing with a chargeable bulb for the first semester, but mom said i should get a proper lamp.

it has a goose neck, it can be sturdy in any shape, angle or twist you set it to. it's pretty sturdy, build quality is mid, but i've used this company's lamps before, the goose neck is absolutely sturdy and stays that way for quite a long time.
it cost me 500 rupees on flipkart, and it comes with a 3 month warranty.
