N!gga wants to put the autoloader and the breech in a separate oscillating turret that is used for elevating inside a traditional one that rotates...
Does he realise that then to give the ready rack any meaningful capacity and the gun usable elevation/depression angles you will have to make the outer turret the size of an SUV. Manufacturing and maintaining something like this will also be a nightmare even compared to just making a complex autoloader that can load without needing to move the breech to align with it.
Besides the real killer of oscillating turrets aren't sealing problems, those can be ignored with modern isolated crew compartments, but rather that they can't be stabilised and that you can't armour it enough or even put ERA on it.
Why are Randditors so retarded???
The problem of having to align the breech to load has already been fixed with advanced autoloader designs that can align themselves with the breech like the one in the Type 10.

NBC means nuclear, biological and chemical, modern tanks are completely protected from these threats, oscillating turrets can't be protected from these because the oscillation mechanism needs gaps between the collar and the oscillating turret to function, hence they can't be properly sealed.

In conventional turrets with autoloaders you have to align the breech with the loading mechanism to well.. load. This movement takes time and the gun off the target. In oscillating turrets the gun is elevated/depressed by moving the entire upper turret which is mounted to a pivot point with the lower turret also called a collar. This saves time and also allows for the turret to be overall smaller but does make it taller, which can be both good and bad. This comes with serious drawbacks tho, the ones mentioned in the post, poor elevation angles because of the bustle movement unless you move the entire turret to the rear which has its own problems, and maintenance.
Pretty much only the French incorporated these in their tanks, tho the American did experiment with some.
Their peak was in the 1950s as autoloaders were slower and a self aligning loader was too complex for the time, they are mostly unnecessary today. The modern M1128 Stryker uses this sorta turret to make it smaller and lighter despite carrying a big gun for its size.
