Did your university had a perma-death thingie too if you were an honours student?

What I mean is, if you failed even once in your honours subject, you didn't get any second chances. You didn't get any back. You didn't get any reappear. They just awarded you with a non-honours degree instead. My chuttad university had this system when I was doing economics honours. I had two subjects. Economics, and economics honours in my degree. I got good grades in economics, but failed in economics honours in only one semester and I ended up with a non-hons. plain BA degree because the bhadvas did not have a system which allowed students to reappear for their hons. subjects...

Imagine doing a degree. You fail in your hons. and there is no way for you to rectify your mistake...
