All the cows used in milk industry stop producing milk after their menopause. Beef companies buy these post menopausal cows and slaughter them and sell the beef to neighbouring nations, or use it up in kerala or northeast. Most of these beef companies are owned not by muslims, rather by banias and jains. And these beef companies also donated to bjp election campaign which a few people pointed out.
You should realise that India is still doing bullock cart tier agriculture in an era where farmers abroad fly planes in their farm for spraying fertilizer and they also have tech like combine harvesters and greenhouses. Their farmers are so advanced that they literally go home and play microsoft farming simulator because their technology allowed them to finish work quickly.
India can 5x its agricultural production with better land laws and better technology. At this stage its not feasible to have an amul for meat. Animals have to be fed tonnes of feed and we simply dont have that sort of agricultural capacity.

Agree. FSSAI is joke but if someone can create an amul equivalent for meat industry (Amul model for milk works - here by amul i mean a level of trust) then it would be great.
Meat processing industries is not fault free though. Still proly better than random guys maybe.
