I have 2 options.

Continue my 10 ghanta corporate majdoori 6 days a week job. OR, Become an empaneled legal defense counsel in our district's dlsa (2 years sarkari contract).

The salary hike is okay and so are the sarkari chuttis but the work will be entirely criminal defence and literally nothing else. And that too, only for 2 years. After that, I'll be on my own again.

If I want to enter corporate law again after two years in criminal defence, it would be relatively harder than if I continue doing my current job and make a switch for a better corporate job in the future.

But I'm fed up of my current job and I already have an year of experience in criminal law.

I fucking hate these sarkari madarchods. Why has everything turned contractual? I want my permanent sarkari jaaaab yaaaaaar.
