Caught up with Golden Kamui as well now all that remains is the movie and then S05. It's one of the better long running show and somewhat underrated as well, do try if you want to watch some good historical kino.

Still sleeping on Fujimoto Sensei's 17-26 despite having had plans to view it. Thinking of saving it for a good day it's not like we're getting any new adaptation from Sensei anytime soon.

pretty sure I watched it several years ago, it was fine I think. And speaking of VN I haven't read any in quite a while. Last time I picked the Vita release of Steins;Gate and got the exact same ending that I did last time on PC. Still enjoyed the shit out of it doe.

I would read manga back in my hay day like when I was first exposed to nip media
finished both Death Note and Fullmetal Alchemist and that was _the_ shit and when I tried watching the anime adaptation it didn't hit the same it was then I realised manga is inherently superior despite being just ink on paper kek
also reminds me of the case of School Days and Euphoria where both the titles are examples of classic eroge's that every weeb most experience but most just blaze through the anime which doesn't do proper justice to the source material like Euphoria is such a well made game but most remember it as that meme hentai which is as you said extremely depressing

Rather than worry about how many things do exist and trying to make sense of it, just watch what looks nice and you can finish in one go. You get it all for free so their is no guilt. Know that it is not a competition and you are better of still watching it, having option, than if you didn't.
