Have you noticed the faces of "beauties" in manhwa/manhua's always feel as if they have a ton of makeup on? I don't get their preference, they're drawing in a 2d format meaning they should be able to draw their ideal girls but most of the time the girls they draw are similar to the looks of golddiggers or women who only likes men on a surface level depending if they have money/power. Is that really what they want even in a wish fulfilment fantasy

I would like to bringup how manwha/manhua in the context of series tend to just use the same skull shape overall (and same body type) for all the randis it draws. I rarely have seen any, if very few exceptions to this.
This is not exactly an issue with manga, the JP authors don't go try hard retard while creating a beautiful character which needless accessory, lipstick shades and she liners. It just makes the character look like 3DPD whores in a bad way.
Some manwha still have a little bit more soul to their art style. I can take gritty or even conical srt style over the generic ones. Picrel is a few case alongside some very handful of series where the female characters don't look like silicon sex doll

It here repetitive really fast as well because you can only make the eye lashes so longer, the eye shadow so colorful, the lipstick so red, and give her only so much jwellery, it starts to look terrible fast.
