I noticed something same on bhach too, when some thread is getting attention that jannies do not like their is suddenly a thread that is taken out of proportion with baits, which jannies will refuse to remove. At the same time when even small threads that are perfectly harmless tend to discuss a subject that rarely is discussed the entire thread is nuked. Their is no warning or red text, just entire thread gone.
