Why do Hindus from rest of India simp for Kashmiri Pandits and hold them in high regard?
They get quota and reservation as refugees in other states.
They are decent looking but don't really stand out when compared to upper castes from other states. On average, the Kashmiri Muslims, and Punjabi Hindus look better than the Kashmiri Pandits.
Other than Nehru family and the bureaucrats they elevated Kashmiri Pandit achievements have been mediocre. Can't name famous Pandits except 2-3 actors like Anupam Kher.
They are a weak people who protested against Punjabi Hindus taking away their jobs in Kashmir during their rule, then got btfod by Muslims. No other ethnicity has been kicked out of their homeland so brutally.
As Brahmins they couldn't even do their one goddamn job properly in maintaining Hinduism in their home state.
I only care for Kashmir land due to Indian geopolitical interests. I want to replace Kashmiri population with stronger UP and Bihar bros.

Kashmiri Kshatriyas were few Rajputs who conquered them as vassal of the Sikh empire. Before that Kashmir was under Muslim rule.
All the other castes except a few of these Pandits converted to Islam. But what is interesting is they aren't that different from the Pandits genetically.
