>Shyam Sundar Chadda better known mononymously as Shyam, was an Indian actor in Hindi cinema in the 1930s and 1940s.
>Shyam died while filming on the set of Shabistan in 1951 after he fell off a horse during filming and fractured his skull. He was immediately rushed to the hospital but did not survive.
>Some people still speculate to this day that had he lived longer, due to his good looks, he would have given stiff competition to the 1950s popular film heroes, Dilip Kumar, Dev Anand and Raj Kapoor.
>Was reportedly 6’5 tall, a lot of actresses refused to worked with him due to being height conscious.

Every good cinema reflects the conditions of a particular region and its people and their political thought process. In that era most movies were based around themes like poverty and a new born hope post independence.
Most of the heroes unlike in 80s Bollywood didn't play role of macho but of a poor and underprivileged and picrel looks neither of those 2.
He just like Amithabh Bachchan could have been a mega star in 70s and 80s.

Picrel is supposed to be 30 years old.
Definitely his parents didn't know his birth year so he chose a random year. Even my grandfather's birth year on government documents was 1955 while my father was born in 1974 and he was 6th child.
